Recently, I went to see Peter Pan at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre with a friend; Peter Pan the book is very important to us both, because it was one of my favourite books as a child, and I was the person who introduced her to it a few years ago (she mentioned that she’d never read it, I leapt up and grabbed it off the shelf and launched right into chapter one. Then we took turns reading chapters to each other until we’d finished – we’re cute like that). So, when we found out that Peter Pan was playing while she was visiting me in London, we immediately booked tickets.
